Chocolate has always been my passion and prior to the creation of AuBel Chocolate I worked for 15 years at one of the UK’s best loved chocolate manufacturing companies, including a spell with their organic brand. Even though my main experience was in research and development I have always been more interested in the creative aspect of chocolate making. The desire to create my own chocolates was driven by a real love for chocolate and purity of ingredients, and the passion to create a selection box that showed true variety in taste and appearance.
Aubel Chocolate flavours are derived from just raw ingredients and no artificial flavour aids are added. The chocolate used is mainly single origin (Madagascar) chocolate sourced from small chocolate producers working very closely and ethically with cocoa farmers to cultivate sustainable cocoa.
AuBel Chocolate was created in 2014 and the first award entry submission was made in 2015. Since then AuBel Chocolate has collected 14 awards and has twice been among the finalists for local business awards.
